About Morgan Elliott DAF

Morgan Elliott Limited is a Company privately owned by Colin Morgan and Roger Elliott and was incorporated in August 1975 as a subsidiary of C Barber and Sons Limited, a South London Haulier and traded as Barber DAF Trucks Limited. When the current owners completed a management Buy-out in March 1984 the Company was changed to Morgan Elliott Limited.

In September 1987 the Company moved to its current site in Beddinton Lane, Croydon and in December of that year was awarded the Leyland DAF Truck Franchised for the South West London and Surrey following the merger of DAF Trucks and Leyland Vehicles. As the Business grew Morgan Elliott became one of the largest Leyland DAF Truck dealers in the United Kingdom.

Following the restructuring of Leyland DAF and LDV in 1993, Morgan Elliott was awarded the additional territory of South-East London and Kent and consequently opened a small parts and service facility in Crayford in June 1994. Morgan Elliott then undertook a purpose built development in Belvedere, Kent, which was opened in October 1996. Morgan Elliott where then able to provide a full range of New and Used Trucks and Vans, Parts, Service and Road Side Assistance, plus a Truck Rental Service, from both branches.

Under the guidance of Colin Morgan and Roger Elliott the company has continued to grow and continues to be a main DAF dealer, supplying new and used DAF trucks throughout London, Kent and Surrey.
